The contest is defined by industry standards as determined from elements of the CompTIA A+ including elements of Network+ and Security+ guides. There will be a written/online exam with 50 questions covering all areas of the standards in the A+ exam. Three additional hands on stations will cover identification of tools and equipment, hands on technical problem resolution, and a help desk interview covering customer service, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Students need to bring pencil and scratch paper.
Coordinator will provide laptops, desktop, hand tools, and computer parts.
