2022-2023 State Officers
Rachel Runyan, President
My name is Rachel Runyan. I am a senior from Seward High School, and I am serving as your Nebraska SkillsUSA State President! This will be my 6th year involved in SkillsUSA. In school, you’ll typically find me in activities such as Marching Band, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Show Choir, Select Choir, One Acts, Musical, and I serve as an ambassador. Outside of school, I take piano lessons, hold a lifeguard position at the Seward Dowding Municipal Pool and work at the Rivoli Theater. I am so excited to work with you all and serve as your State President!
Jackson Graves, Vice President
My name is Jackson Graves. I am a Senior at Hastings High School and I am your SkillsUSA Nebraska State Vice President. This is my 7th year as a member of SkillsUSA. Along with SkillsUSA, I am also involved in National Honor Society, Tennis, Golf, and Scouting. Outside of school I like to travel, hangout with friends, waterski, engineering. After I graduate, I plan to attend college. I am very excited to serve as your 2022-2023 state Vice President!
Seth Engelman, Historian
Hello my name is Seth Engelman. I am a senior at Fairbury Jr-Sr High School and I will be serving as the 2022-2023 Historian for SkillsUSA Nebraska. This will be my fourth year in SkillsUSA. Aside from Skills I participate in One Act, Track and Field, and FFA. Outside of school I love to bike, kayak, and spend time with my family and friends. I am so excited to serve as your 2022-2023 Historian.
Jarrett Miles, Parliamentarian
My name is Jarrett MIles. I am a junior at Saint Patrick’s High School and I will be serving as your 2022-2023 Parliamentarian. Along with SkillsUSA, I am involved with Band, Choir, Student Council, NHS, and the track & cross country teams in my school. Outside of school, I partake in biking, running, art, and camping. I’m super excited to see what our State Officers accomplish this year.
Miranda Strizek, Reporter
My name is Miranda Strizek. I am a junior at East Butler High School and I am serving as your State Reporter. This will be my 3rd year as a SkillsUSA member. In school, I am involved in many different activities such as one act, speech, basketball, track, FFA, quiz bowl, band, and choir. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and work at Pekarek’s Produce as a sales manager. I am so excited to serve as your state Reporter and I can’t wait to work with you!
Brock Davis, Treasurer
My name is Brock Davis. I am a sophomore at Papillion La-Vista South. This will be my second year in SkillsUSA, I will be serving as your High school Treasurer. Some stuff I am involved in is, Football, Powerlifting, and Golf. Outside of school, I love to fish, spend time with friends, and anything outdoors. I plan on going to a four year college and enter a career in politics. And I cannot wait to serve as your treasurer!
