The Computer Programming competition is divided into two parts: a written test and a project to build. The written test will evaluate general knowledge about computers and computer programming.
For the project, contestants will be provided with a series of requirements that a program they write will be required to meet. Examples of past project requirements include a college tuition calculator, compound interest calculator, and a personal budgeting application. That program is to be written during the allotted timeframe on the day of competition.
