A written test is required to show the contestants’ ability to solve mathematical problems in the skilled, professional, and technical occupations. Knowledge of geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and basic statistics will be tested.
Students need to bring a scientific calculator or graphing calculator similar to a TI-30 or TI-84, and a one-page resume.
