2024-2025 State Officers

 

Nathaniel Heath, President

Hello, I am Nathaniel Heath.  I am your state President for the Nebraska SkillsUSA 2024-2025 school year.  In school, I am a football student manager for Papillion South Titans and challenge myself with honors level classes in math and German.  Outside of school, I love to be outdoors hiking or sitting by a campfire. I also love to work on cars and being with my friends.  I am a youth leader at my church and help host a group every Thursday. I am happy to serve you as your President and look forward to helping you in any way I can.

 

 

 Landan A. Waegli, Vice President

Hi, my name is Landan A. Waegli.  I am from Seward NE, but live in a tiny little town named Ulysses NE.  In school, I am very involved in SkillsUSA being Seward’s chapter president.  I also participate in E-Sports and cross country.  Outside of school, I love to rock collect, snowboard and road tripping.  I want to go to the Army National Guard along with going to college to get a teaching degree in skilled and technical sciences.  I am excited to serve you this year as your SkillsUSA Vice President.

 

 

 Emma Kaijala, Secretary

Hey Everyone! My name is Emma Kaijala.  I am the Nebraska SkillsUSA Secretary.  I attend Papillion LaVista South High School as a junior.  I am currently involved in show choir and am very passionate about sports and graphic design/ marketing.  I love hanging out with my friends by going on drives, getting food, or playing games together.  My goal is to attend California Institute of the Arts and major in graphic design.  I am excited to lead and use my skills to improve this organization.

 

 
 

 

 

 
 

Max Mendez, Parliamentarian

Hi everyone, my name is Max Mendez and I go to Grand Island Senior High.  I will be serving as your
Parliamentarian for the 2024-2025 year.
 
In addition to SkillsUSA, I am a member of my schools HOSA chapter and a member of my school’s varsity robotics team. Outside of all of this, you can find me reading horror books on my porch, baking something chocolaty, or bowling with my friends.  I’m very excited to serve you this year and cannot wait to meet you guys.

 

 

 

 

 

Kinlee Caudy, Reporter

 

Hello, my name is Kinlee Caudy. I am your SkillsUSA Nebraska State Reporter for the 2024-2025 year. I am a junior at Thayer Central. Outside of SkillsUSA, I am an avid reader and I enjoy spending time long boarding with my friends. I’m also on the speech team and compete in extemporaneous and humorous speech. I plan to join the Air Force and attend college to major in criminal justice and minor in psychology. I’m looking forward to serving you this year as a state officer.

 

 

 

Camden Patyk, Treasurer

 
Hello, my name is Camden Patyk and I attend Cedar Bluffs Public Schools.  I’m coming back to serve you as SkillsUSA Nebraska Treasurer.  At my school, I’m involved in One Act, speech, basketball, track plus more.  Outside, I like to hang with friends plus practice sports.  My goal is to attend The University of Oregon and major in political science.  I wish you well and I’m excited to serve you again this year.

 

 

 

 

 



Christian J. Leinart, Historian

My name is Christian J. Leinart. I am a junior at Logan View High. This is my third year in SkillsUSA, and I am the Historian for this year’s State Officer Team. Thanks to my position as an announcer for many events in my school, I have been called the “Voice of the Raiders.” I am the Drum Major in my band, and the co-President of Student Council. Outside of school I play video games, read, and do some odd jobs when I can. After high school, I plan on going to a four-year college and getting my degree in Biochemistry. I am very excited to serve as this year’s Historian!
