2025-2026 State Officers

Kinlee Caudy, President

Hello, my name is Kinlee Caudy. I am your SkillsUSA Nebraska State President for the 2025-2026 year. I am a junior at Thayer Central. Outside of SkillsUSA, I am an avid reader and I enjoy spending time long boarding with my friends. I’m also on the speech team and compete in extemporaneous and humorous speech. I plan to join the Air Force and attend college to major in criminal justice and minor in psychology. I’m looking forward to serving you this year as a state officer.

 Landan A. Waegli, Vice President

Hey guys, my name is Landan Waegli. I go to school in Seward, NE, but live in the tiny town of Ulysses, NE. In school, I am very involved in SkillsUSA, being Seward’s chapter president for the last 4 years. I also participate in Powerlifting, Golf, and cross country. Outside of school, I love to work on the farm, snowboard, and go on road trips. I want to join the Army National Guard while pursuing a teaching degree in skilled and technical sciences. I am excited to serve you this year as your SkillsUSA Vice President.

 Rebecca Brooks, Secretary

Hello! I’m Rebecca, and I am your 2025-2026 state secretary. I go to Papillion La Vista South High School. At school, I’m a chapter officer for my SkillsUSA chapter, president of the robotics club, and enrolled in the Education Academy. Within the Education Academy, I student-teach all over my district with a focus on Middle School STS and robotics. I am a very avid reader, having over 80 books in my mini library at home. If I’m not reading, you can normally find me at my computer working on projects or playing video games. I’m very excited for this year and can’t wait to see what I can accomplish for you, SkillsUSA Nebraska!

I’m a dedicated member of the National Honor Society, FFA, SkillsUSA, and 4-H. On top of that, I serve on my school’s Student Council—because why not do it all? I’m excited to capture memories in pictures!

Outside of all of this, you can find me reading horror books on my porch, baking a pie, or bowling with my friends. After high school, I plan to attend Southeast Community College to study Respiratory Therapy and serve in the Nebraska Air National Guard. I’m very excited to serve you this year and look forward to meeting you all.
